About Community Foundations
A community foundation is a charitable, nonprofit organization where people of all means can make lasting differences in their community through donations or establishing a fund. Contributions from the entire community are invested and the earnings that result are used year after year to make grants and scholarships to students and nonprofit organizations in our region.
